Sarah Bruni is a graduate of the University of Iowa and the MFA program at Washington University in St. Louis, where she was an instructor of creative writing and composition. She has roots in Chicago, taught fiction writing in New York, and volunteered as a writer-in-schools in San Francisco, and Montevideo, Uruguay. The Night Gwen Stacy Died is her first novel. Her translations have appeared in the Buenos Aires Review. She currently lives in New Orleans, where she recently completed an MA focused on Latin American studies and literature at Tulane.
